Restoration Project

As the team responsible for the restoration of St. Macartan’s Cathedral, we have been working diligently on a project of great significance to both the local community and the wider region. Our involvement began with the urgent need to address the damage caused by weathering, rainfall, and climate change over the years. From the moment we stepped onto the site, we understood the responsibility we had to preserve this historic building for future generations.

The restoration process has been a careful and meticulous effort. Our work has involved extensive repairs to the stonework, roof, and critical structural elements such as the tower, spire, pinnacles, and rose windows. These elements required not just expertise, but also a deep respect for the craftsmanship that went into the original design. As specialists in stone conservation, we have worked to restore the building’s fabric with the utmost care, ensuring that both the exterior and interior are secured against further damage.
